For our wedding, we received a very generous gift card to the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Matthew and I made the drive up this past weekend to take advantage of our stay. The drive was beautiful, lots of leaves changing and trace reminiscence of the snow that had fallen on Friday and Saturday. We were fortunate to have some nice weather with plenty of sunshine, as we have heard the snow has returned today. It was definitely an experience staying at The Stanely Hotel, which was the inspiration for Stephen King's, The Shining. The hotel even loops the playing of the movie constantly on channel 42.
