Make new friends...

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been volunteering in a first grade classroom at the elementary school where I will be completing one of my practicums this fall. I had the pleasure of working with a wonderfully positive and energetic teacher, Cristina. Since school let out for summer, we have gone on a couple of new friend adventures, premiere party for Brave, farmer's market, and most recently, she took Matthew and I to a quaint town called Winters. Winters is about 30 minutes from Fairfield/Vacaville and is an adorable little town with great little shops and restaurants. We ate at a tapas restaurant called Ficelle's and had some of the most delicious eats and sangria. Matthew and I are excited about our new and developing friendship with Cristina and are looking forward to all of the fun times ahead! Like hiking for the 4th of July!
