The Color Run!

Today I completed my first "official" 5K, The Color Run-The Happiest 5K on the planet, with two of my friends from home. The Color Run is a 5K for people all ages, stages, and sizes, runners, walkers, crawlers, skippers, jumpers, trotters, as long as you're moving! The race took place at Candlestick Park, home of the San Francisco 49ers. The race is called the "color run" because at each kilometer, a new color is "poofed" onto the runners in the form of colored powder. But the end of the race, runners are covered in speckled spots of pink, blue, purple, yellow, and orange. The race was totally laid back and full of people dressed in colors of neon. It was a really fun race and will definitely plan to run it again next year!
